How does the Euro 2020 work?
Essentially, 24 teams are split into six groups of four. Each then plays every other squad in their group, gaining three points for a win and one point for a draw. Once all of the matches have been played, the top two teams in each group progress to the round of 16.

Where is the Euro 2020 being held?
Normally, one country would host the European Championship. However, to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the tournament, UEFA decided to hold it across several nations.
