Unfortunately, Canadian fans get the short end of the stick, with no official broadcaster confirmed as yet for the final season. Netflix has traditionally added Brooklyn Nine-Nine to the Canadian library a little sooner than in other countries, but we’re still looking at another year of waiting, give or take a few weeks. It’s possible that you’ll be able to rent or purchase them on video rental platforms like iTunes and the Google Play Store at some point before this though.

What do we know about season 8 of Brooklyn Nine-Nine?
Well, this might be the last time we see Jake and the rest of the squad, but according to the teaser trailer, nothing has changed. In fact, Melissa Fumero, who plays Amy Santiago says that the show is “going out with a bang and a little bit of a mic drop” while Andy Samberg, series star and producer, claims to have “tried to cram [in] as many jokes” as possible into each new episode.
There isn’t much information about the plot to go on, although it seems the Nine-Nine unit is being officially disbanded, and previous interviews have suggested that both the “defund the police” movement and the COVID-19 pandemic have led to significant rewoking of the script.
