Where can I stream The Witcher: Blood Origin season 1?

What is The Witcher: Blood Origin season 1 about?
Many fans know that Netflix’s The Witcher is based on a popular book series by Andrzej Sapkowski and the video game series of the same name. What you may not know, however, is that Blood Origin will be much more reliant on the writers’ imaginations because surprisingly little is known about this time period in the Continent’s history.
The show could rely on an extensive foundation of early history. The Elder Races – gnomes, dwarves, and elves – first populated the world of The Witcher; however, they weren’t living in peace by any means. When humans and monsters became trapped in their dimension during the Conjunction of the Spheres caused by unknown causes, it changed the Continent forever.
Who is in the cast of The Witcher: Blood Origin season 1?
The cast and characters in The Witcher: Blood Origin season 1 have been announced periodically.
In 2020, we learned that the show wants to cast two female leads: Eile ‘The Lark’ Lithe and Princess Merwyn. Eile hails from a clan of elves who primarily use knives as their weapon of choice. Jodie Turner-Smith was originally slated to play Eile but left due to scheduling conflicts. However, we now know that Sophia Brown (as seen in Netflix’s Giri/Haji) will take on the role instead. Additionally, Mirren Mack (known for Mudlarks) has been confirmed to play Princess Merwyn.
Laurence O’Fuarain, known for his work on Rebellion and Vikings, is the second cast member to be confirmed. His role is that of Fjall Stoneheart, a character noted for being physically strong as well as gritty and visceral. Belonging to an elven clan that rivals Eile’s. There is potential that Fjall could eventually become the Continent’s first Witcher.
Jacob Collins-Levy (The White Princess, Young Wallander) has been announced to have joined the cast of Blood Origin as “Captain Eredin.” This is the same Eredin we know from Andrzej Sapkowski’s novels and CD Projekt RED’s games. Another actor was even chosen to play an older version of this character for The Witcher season 2. Therefore, this is the first major connection between Blood Origin and the main series.
We’re also due to see the following cast members make an appearance:
- Michelle Yeoh will play Scian
- Dylan Moran will play Uthrok One-Nut
- Lenny Henry will play Balor
- Nathaniel Curtis will play Brian
- Francesca Mills will play Meldof
- Huw Novelli will play Brother Death / Callan
- Lizzie Annis will play Zacaré
- Zach Wyatt will play Syndril
- Aidan O’Callaghan will play Kareg
- Minnie Driver as Seanchai
- Faoileann Cunningham as Ryl
- Kim Adis as Ket
- Daniel Fathers as Osfar
- Hebe Beardsall as Catrin
- Isla Gie as Kes
